About Dr. Patel
Milind Patel, MD, MBA, is a double board-certified pain management specialist and physiatrist at Peak Spine & Sports Medicine in Marlton, Collingswood and Toms River, New Jersey. He continuously provides the latest treatment options available in his field and collaborates with his multidisciplinary team to offer top-tier care. While working with new or returning patients, Dr. Patel gains an in-depth understanding of their goals and uses a holistic approach to treat chronic pain and sports injuries.
Dr. Patel attended Drexel University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He earned his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2014. In 2012, Dr. Patel completed a master’s degree in business administration, focusing on health care management and finance.
After earning his degrees, Dr. Patel completed his residency, including acting as Chief Resident, and fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He also pursued a special fellowship in Healthcare Quality Improvement and Clinical Safety at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He continues to use the knowledge he learned during his training in practice today at Peak Spine & Sports Medicine.
Dr. Patel displays a clear passion for his work at Peak Spine & Sports Medicine, where he frequently treats cases of low back pain, arthritis, knee injuries, sciatica, and sprains using advanced techniques like regenerative medicine, injections, and spinal cord stimulation. He holds Board Certifications in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.
In his current role, Dr. Patel enjoys constantly learning about new models of health care and innovative technologies in his field. He uses his expertise and skill to create meaningful impacts in patients’ lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Patel loves the Philadelphia Eagles, Tesla vehicles, and learning about futuristic technology.
